GSF & ICHCA International Conference

GSF and ICHCA International will bring industry leaders from around the world to MEGATRANS2018.

The Global Shipper’s Forum (GSF) and the International Cargo Handling Coordination Association (ICHCA) are the peak international associations influencing commercial developments in the international freight transport industry and the policy decisions of governments and international organisations as they affect shippers and receivers of freight.

The Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) and Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) are the Australian representatives to the GSF and together with ICHCA Australia are proud to host the combined international conference – this is the first time this event has been hosted in Australasia and we look forward to bringing the world to our shores and engaging with the local regulatory, logistics and trade sectors.

Port Outlook 2018

Port Outlook 2018 brings together senior leaders from Victoria’s extensive ports and channels network for an update on issues and challenges facing importers and exporters, freight forwarders, stevedores and others in the supply chain. Attendees will hear from representatives of the Victorian Ports Corporation, Port of Melbourne Corporation, Port of Portland, the Victorian Government, stevedores servicing the Port of Melbourne and other stakeholders being confirmed. ALC Supply Chain Technology Summit

The Australian Logistics Council’s Supply Chain Technology Summit 2018, to be held on 10 May in partnership with MEGATRANS2018, will focus on the policy priorities articulated by ALC in Freight Doesn’t Vote – their submission to the Inquiry into National Freight and Supply Chain Priorities. This includes collecting greater data on freight movements, adapting to automated technologies and global labelling standards.
